Additional section DUT-E is designed to increase the length of fuel level sensors measuring part including shortened ones.
We offer the following models: KDC 250, KDC 500, KDC 1000.

DUT-E LENGTHEN UP TO 6000 mm
DUT-E A5, DUT-E A10 and DUT-E F length increasing
It is possible to increase the length of fuel level sensors which have been shortened earlier - to a length no more than nominal.
Example 1: DUT-E A5 L=1000 mm has been shortened to the length of 800 mm, and it has to be installed into vehicle tank of 900 mm depth. We have to increase the length of DUT-E A5 with additional section KDC 250 to the length of 1050 mm (800+250=1050 mm) and cut 150 mm.
Example 2: DUT-E F L=700 mm has been shortened by mistake to the length of 200 mm. Now it is necessary to install the sensor into a tank of 600 mm depth. We have to increase the length of DUT-E F with additional section KDC 500 to the length of 700 mm (200+500=700 mm) and cut 100 mm.
Example 3: DUT-E F L=700 mm has been shortened to the length of 600 mm. It is necessary to install the sensor into a tank of 800 mm depth. We have to increase DUT-E F with additional section KDC 250 up to the length of 850 mm (600+250 = 850 mm) and cut 50 mm. But it would not work because the total length is more than nominal length (700 mm).
DUT-E 232, DUT-E 485 length increasing
It is possible to increse the length both shortened ones and new sensors. Lengthen is possible to any length including more than nominal. The maximum length of DUT-E with additional sections should not exceed 6000 mm.
It is necessary to calibrate DUT-E using Service kit DUT-E after length increasing or shortening but before the tank calibration.
Example 1: DUT-E 232 L=1000 mm has been shortened till the length of 800 mm. It is necessary to install it into a tank of 900 mm depth. We have to increase the length of DUT-E 232 with additional section KDC 250 to the length of 1050 mm (800+250=1050 mm) and cut 150 mm.
Example 2: It is necessary to equip a tank of 1900 mm depth. DUT-E 232 L=1000 mm to be extended by additional section KDC 1000, then cut 100 mm.
Example 3: It is necessary to equip a tank of 4500 mm depth. DUT-E 232 L=1400 mm has to be extended by 3 sections KDC 1000 and 1 section KDC 250, then cut 150 mm.

Note: DUT-E L=1400 mm is inconvenient for the air transportation.
